Megan Mulrain is a city girl at heart who moved to North Carolina from New York in 2007. She spent her time obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree at Western Carolina University, studying public relations and business.

During her time at WCU, Megan completed two internships back in Charlotte and volunteered her time to work with organizations in Western North Carolina. Megan has interned with the marketing department of the Siskey YMCA in Charlotte, NC. While interning, Megan crafted a general social media schedule and created a social media database consisting of both evergreen and timely posts. She has also interned with The Agency, a communication firm in Charlotte, NC. As an intern, she worked as a copywriter and spent her time honing her writing skills. She wrote press releases, website copy, brochure copy and social media posts.

As a student at WCU, Megan worked alongside a team of students to work with The Good Samaritan Clinic of Jackson County to help brainstorm, plan and execute a fundraising event. She has also worked with the Western North Carolina Aids Project, where she the project lead and coordinated filming promotional videos for a fundraising dinner.

Megan graduated with her degree in May of 2017 and is currently located in Charlotte, North Carolina.
