During the Summer 2016, I interned with The Agency, a communication and marketing firm in Charlotte, NC. As an intern, I spent time creating content and brainstorming in client meetings. I helped create a variety of written content, both print and web, for their clients.
During my internship, I spent time developing my writing skills but creating written content for printed brochures, social media posts, website updates. I also crafted press releases and media lists to help connect the client to the local media outlets. When needed, I wrote relevant blog posts for different clients to be posted on their website. I also spent time meeting with clients. I would spent time researching about clients, their competitors and ideas to promote the brand in unique ways. In the meetings, I would participate in brainstorming new tactics.
